The Optimist Club of Orangeville has been bringing you Christmas in The Park in Orangeville for more than 30 years! It all began with a few of seniors stringing a lights on a few trees at the park across the street from the Seniors Centre on Bythia. It has since grown to include fantastic illuminated characters, millions of dazzling lights, music, entertainers of all sorts, hot drinks served by local scouts and churches, and many delightful community displays! A free month-long event that draws over 24,000 visitors a year. With the help of volunteers and funding by generous sponsors and donations, Christmas in The Park at Kay Cee Gardens is a holiday tradition for our community and beyond.
As always, our event is free and open to the public from 5:30 to 9:30 every evening in December, except when weather prevents it. Follow us on our social media to stay updated. Our Donation Station is set up beside the Pergola at Kay Cee Gardens, and cash donations are very welcome!! This year we have a POS Terminal with Square to make it easy to tap a donation!
